Brad's Launch Controller

Brad, Mark and Dave took the launch controller designed by Michael Moncur and turned it into an over-designed, over-complicated, inconceivably convoluted monstrosity. What a thing of beauty!

Michael Moncur's Launch Controller

Brad's first relay launch controller was built from plans he found on Rocketry Online. It is one fine piece of equipment. (this link was broken for some time, but was repaired on 4/16/05). It is self-contained, powered by a lawn tractor battery.

Marc Casanova's
Cluster Launch Controller

This launch controller can pump 90 to 100 amps into a cluster of motors. In its current configuration it can support up to 98 motors. It uses two batteries, one 12V tractor battery for the detection of the launch command and energizing the four internal relays, and one 850 CCA car battery dedicated to firing the igniters.

Rick's Launch Controller

Rick invented his own controller, and it is designed to draw power through a line running to the battery installed in his automobile.

Burl's Dynamite Blaster

Remember the box with the plunger that Wiley Coyote would use in his attempts to blow up the Roadrunner? Burl has one to launch his rockets. No kidding.

We want your opinion, so make like a Chicago Democrat and vote early, vote often, vote even if you are dead. However, as this is an electronic ballot, West Palm Beach Democrats will need to find a better excuse than hanging or pregnant chads for failing to properly fill out the form.
