Vatsaas Origins
We are all descendents of John Elliassen Granbostad. Born in 1833, he took the name Vatsaas from the farm where he lived sometime around 1876. There are now many generations of Vatsaas families, most living either in Norway or the United States. Obviously, not all of the descendents bear the Vatsaas name. Here are the others we know of.
