The Fierce Bad
Rabbit is the reincarnation of my Super
Sizzler. After it plummeted into the desert, I found the
rear section of it intact. After sitting on it for
several months I decided to stretch it, add a 29 mm
mount, and make it a forward ejection model. This was
my first fiberglassing project. After extending the
fuselage, I covered the front end with 3/4 oz glass and
filled it with cyanacrylate. That worked pretty well.

| I like this little rocket with the big
motors. At only 1.6 inches in diameter, it goes to about
2600 feet on a F20-7, and well in excess of 3000' on a G35-7.
At our field in Minnesota, the F20 is enough. This
October I brought it to Arizona for the G Harry Stine
Launch. I found time to launch it twice. We had a four
way drag race between my brothers and I, and Cory
McCormick, (photo above, left), I followed it up with a
flight on a G35-7. So far I have had four perfect flights
on this rocket. I think that is a personal record. Incidently,
the Rabbit is named after the Beatrix Potter character,
though that bunny didn't carry a knife.
