SA-5 Gammon

Scale Drawings

Rick is the team member responsible for generating the master drawing for the project. This is a very critical task, as the work for various pieces of the project will be completed at sites located across the United States. Actual work will not commence until the team has approved the master design drawings.

At left is an early 3D rendering of the SA-5 Gammon from Rick's CAD program. Details are only roughly correct, but the size of the missile is about right. The figure standing next to the missile is shown to give the drawing a sense of scale, and represents a male that is 5-foot 10-inches tall (1.778 meters)

This 3D image is output from the RockSim model. This position is the same orientation that is required when the SA-5 is mounted on the Soviet missile launcher.

This 3D image is also output from the RockSim model, rotated about the center axis by 45°

This 3D image is also output from the RockSim model , but with the boosters removed.

We want your opinion, so make like a Chicago Democrat and vote early, vote often, vote even if you are dead. However, as this is an electronic ballot, West Palm Beach Democrats will need to find a better excuse than hanging or pregnant chads for failing to properly fill out the form.
