Brad flew Commander Kip Quasar's Galactic Zephyr on a Hypertek M motor for it's second awesome flight.
And also flew Grandma Lucy's Semi-Annual Memorial Day Prickly-Heat Telethon-of-Love on a J350.
Billy Dahlberg took awesome photos - and we don't have his picture because he was always BEHIND the camera...
...except for this one. Billy and his wife own Naturally Lit Photography.
One of the few moments when Cory wasn't assembling motors. Of the four head-shaped objects in the photo, Cory's is seen in the twelve o-clock position.
Mark was frequently seen running with scissors or trying to poke someone's eye out with a sharp stick. He was subsequently overpowered and subdued.
Our friend Loren came all the way from Minnesota just to watch big rockets...
...and as a bonus, he got to smell odors foul enough to fuse his nose hairs together.
Rick successfully launched his Evil Grimace on a J350 for an awesome flight
And managed to break the legs off a 2-inch PVC launch pad with the thrust from the motor
The Evil Grimace flight earned Rick his NAR Level 2 certification!
So he had the honor of serving as RSO when RTV took over range duties.
A a view of the range - a great place to launch. Every day was this beautiful.
Mark preps Skullduggery; Stefan and Cory are also busy with rocket prep.
We held our annual Rocket Team Vatsaas Drag Race, this time with a Pumpkin-Head theme...
...and it was AWESOME!!!. We flew two races - one during the day, and another one at night.
We camped on-site, and really enjoyed watching the night launch.
Stefan learned that it was possible to fall sleep in an upright position.
So what do you look like after a day of baking in the desert heat?
You look fresh as a daisy.
One of Sunday's highlights was the launch of Eric Burch's M powered Fat Boy.
The rocket was gorgeous, and so was the flight for Eric's Level 3 certification.
We also thought it would be a hoot to launch assorted lawn ornaments.
We were right. The Halloweenier went up on an I211, and the flight was perfect until it shed the plexiglass fins.
