Steve Kristal's Halloweener

Changing the world, one rocketeer at a time.... We received this email just after Halloween, 2003:

Hi Guys,

As a Phoenix native, now stuck in the midwest (Detroit), I've followed your exploits with awe and fear.

Just wanted to pass along some photos of my own Halloweener, inspired by yours.

It's a small-field version, for D & E flights. The nose-cone is from a flashlight "borrowed" from my daughter, the fins are from a template I made from auto-tracing the fin outline of your original. The Tarantula-Web design is a wrap done via my inkjet printer onto full-size label paper, covered with clear spray paint. RockSim says she's stable (as for the builder, or his inspiration, that's another story). I'll let you know.

Thanks for broadening my horizons. Keep up the great work.

Steve Kristal

We want your opinion, so make like a Chicago Democrat and vote early, vote often, vote even if you are dead. However, as this is an electronic ballot, West Palm Beach Democrats will need to find a better excuse than hanging or pregnant chads for failing to properly fill out the form.

(It is only fair to warn you that those who say something truly idiotic may be mocked when Dogbert answers our mail.)
